We spent our last afternoon in New Orleans here. What a treat! It was quiet and relaxing. The cocktails were good and the chicken wings were awesome. So glad we ended up finding this spot on our way out of town.

Visiting from northern Canada, lunch at Alto was a highlight of the trip. Gorgeous rooftop bar with both pool lounge chairs and a few bistro tables. We visited around the lunch hour so it wasn't crazy busy, but with the cool vibe and hip atmosphere, I suspect it gets much busier throughout the day/night. They have a great menu to enjoy with equally great music alongside the beautiful pool. We ordered the eternal summer cocktail, hummus with veg/pita, a mixed salad, and caprese panini with chips. Staff were friendly and laid back but service took a looong time. Confusion in the kitchen or something but hummus arrived after we were finished eating and they didn't really come by to check on the meal or refill water. That being said, the food and atmosphere are wonderful, I would both recommend and definitely go back the next time I visit.

The pool bar is absolutely top-notch — the breeze is perfect, the POPL is warm, and the staff? Unmatched. Seriously, the drinks are next level. Massive shoutout to the all-star crew: Kevin, Camron, Lyrik, Aeliceo, Nikkie, Britney, Christina, and Mikaila. If you’re lucky enough to get any of them, you’re in for a treat. POOL side strong!

Alto was a neat stop on our trip to New Orleans! Even if you aren't staying at the hotel, you can come to the bar and hang out for a bit. The views were really nice and the atmosphere was chill and enjoyable. Would recommend the slushy bar drinks!

Sitting on top of the Ace Hotel, Alto has lovely views from Carondolet. Step up and enjoy the pool or the sitting garden while drinking a cocktail/brew. I tried the Margherita pizza and it was a solid 8/10. The sauce was a little simple, but the cheese and tomatoes were phenomenal and fresh. The crust was the highlight of this pizza. It was charred and crispy - some parts burned - but deliciously.

OMG LOVE this place! Everything from the entrance to the lobby bar to the rooftop patio is so cute! The views are more of the ‘inner city’- meaning between the high rises, and you can only see it at certain parts of the patio that you sit. But the views outside the rooftop isn’t going to be your main focus because between the pool, the garden and the lounge chairs the whole deck is a roof garden of paradise. They do have space heaters near the bar, but if it’s still too cold, the downstairs bar is also a great indoor garden! We just saw it through passing but I wouldn’t mind having a drink there.

Was sat by Maxine who explained our options thoroughly! The staff in the lobby was super friendly and the bartenders provided great service. Overall pleasant time for a day pass!

Such a cute vibe! My friend and I stumbled upon this rooftop pool and bar after deciding Bourbon st was an immediate no. They had a dj playing good music (good balance of hip hop/pop/etc). And it wasn’t too crowded, very laidback chill vibe. The bartenders were friendly, and they use fresh ingredients for the margarita There was a 20 cover when we went but worth it for the vibe. We’ll definitely look into staying at the hotel itself for our next visit!
